YM3623 instead of CS8412

I have access to the YM3623 instead of the CS8412 to build a TDA1541 NONOS dac.

For the CS8412, the output connection to the dac is such:

CS8412

1.Fsync(pin11)

2.Sck(pin12)

3.Sdata(pin26)

Anyone can advise on the pinouts on the YM3623 that is the equivalent of the CS8412 designations above?

My guess is as below, in the order of the above outputs on the CS8412:

YM3623
======
1.L/R(pin15)

2.BCO(pin12)

3.DO(pin17)

Thats correct but look at the CS8412 datasheet. The output of the YM3623B is the same as FMT No.5. The TDA1541 is the same as FMT No.2. You will need to convert between the formats.
