I have a faulty Cambridge player with both a CDM2/10 pickup and a CDM2/29, and the suspects are the laser pickups. I'm going to give the other tips I found a try (replacing the caps and turning up the laser power), but since the CDM2-units are in short supply, but there are many CDM4/19 players available for very little money, this might be a usefull quest
