Hi forum.
I purchased the above cheap dvd player a couple of months ago and it's had an annoying 'pop' sound come from the left channel - or right when you reverse rca plugs. It happens between cd tracks or when, for example, a 20th Century Fox promo ends, you have a few moments silence then the opening movie credits begin. Essentially it happens between something ending and beginning and the level is relative to the volume so yes, sometimes it's rather loud but even when low it's always audible. The service centre said 'no fault found' after 4 weeks which is bollocks! It's driving me nuts and even though it's a cheap player it does play well aside from this but imagine relaxing to a nice piece of music then when a track ends the speaker blurts out a noise then a new track begins - annoying. TIA

If you're using the analog output, it sounds like (no pun intended) DC on the output. Try replacing the output coupling capacitors, pehaps with something better than the OEM ones.
Let us know how it goes. |
