Is there anyone who have experience with the oem modules from d2audio
The spec on these modules is veeery interesting. Note that these are "real" digital amps, with digital in. Also, a dsp is included in the modules, which makes makes them applicable for a lot of audio solutions. Another question regarding the modules: How to purchase? |

well, last year I was interested by these products.
I contacted the importation guy in enagland and he told me that it is impossible to get those products as there is a non-disclosure agreement. So if you want toget one of their products you should open your own hi-fi brand take a look at http://www.apogeeddx.com/ or take a look at the dev board from texas instruments, they seems to be interestng.

There is a possibility I can get D2 Modules for the hobbyist. I am designing a product using the XS100 module from them. I contacted the marketing manager and D2 are interested in selling to the hobby market. However, they don't know how much support will be needed and don't have enough staff to do a lot of hand holding from a lot of one off customers.
If I arranged to get one model of D2 Amp released to the hobby market, which one would you want. Have a look at their web site at www.d2audio.com and get back to me at dmfraser@sbcglobal.net Also, would you be interested in a PCB kit which included the proper connectors for the module and a pre-programmed USB interface IC. Dan
