Default Dolby Decoder

Hi I'll just start with saying, im new here at this place. And i hope i can get a lot from this place, also also give something back.

Know my question. I'm in a search of a "Dolby Digital sourround " Decoder chip. Any one know which chip manufactoer makes this, and where it might could be avible for purchase?

You can't buy one. Unless you get a license from Dolby. Which is stupid expensive. What you can do it buy some relatively inexpensive piece of equipment with the chip you want in it, and rip it out.

The new 1394 digital audio interface has all the audio channels already decoded. But no one in this forum seems to have the knowledge/balls/time/whatever to design a 1394 receiver for the group. I would if I had the knowledge.

The Denon DVD-3910 at $1300 just came out.
