Marantz CD94 or CD99?

I have a choice of this two players: Marantz CD94 CD Player and CD99 transport. Both had laser units changed to new ones by the seller since he had stocked them quite a while back.

The CD99 was offered to me at a price twice that of the CD94. The CD99 is way better in the costmetic condition than the CD94 too. I would be getting either one to use as a transport only.

Now, reliability issues of the lasers being put aside, is the CD99 a more worthy investment over the much cheaper CD94 as a transport? Does the CD99 sound much better than the CD94?

In a dilema now.

Hi,

Just take two players if you can afford them, as they are all great machines.
