The head looks like a 1, but i dont recognise the pcb and the spindle motor. Could be a 0, never seen one in real live.
As far as i know the 0 has a flat surface on the top side, while the 1 has not. Turn it around please Regards, Oops, somebody beat me to it. ![]() Tried to attach a cdm1, but if failed

It looks only partly like a CDM 0 to me. CDM 0 has a diecast base ( mine had anyway ) and weighs a ton. The spindle arm has resemblance, please turn it over for further inspection.
I have the idea this is one of the first Sony mechanics made in colaboration with Philips, the PCB looks like it is built by Sony.

Sony?
AFAIK this is a regular early Philips CDM.There exist quit a few different support PCBs.All RAFOCs from the first generations(nameless,cdm0,cdm1) are identical afaik. pengxy:the identificationsticker is located on the black plastic panel. |

This must be CDM0, it has brush motor like CDM4 and is found in CD303 and similar Grundig CD7500.

no use adjusting the trimpots.
besides a dead laser there are more possible problems generating this behaviour.None of them are solved by messing with the pots. |
