Paralleling up DAC chips

there is a LOT more going on with the DC901 than a few parallel dacs, you can only set one of 2 i2c addresses with es9018, so using more than 2 dacs you need to have custom MCU. trhe DC901 uses custom FPGA for digital filter, custom FIR coefficients, FIR output not IV stage... sorry you are on your own if you want something similar to that.

besides honestly I wish you luck even exceeding the analogue capabilities of a single ES9018 DIY (it simply isnt easy to make more than -120dB THD+N count), no point paralleling them if you cannot leverage the performance of the extra dacs. with 4 x es9018, you have 64mA of current to deal with.... a single ESS dac is already wired for dual mono, left and right are completely separate with analogue references, analogue and digital ground for each L and R

dont just fall for the marketing blurb.
