Hi guys, Im a newbie here- first post.
I have been offered a SM-SX1. Im testing it at the moment and I must say it sounds good, very good. Has anyone here had experience with these, missed a real good deal. A Sharp SM-SX100 with matching SACD player (SD-SX1), excellent price (ex-demo), list price a couple of years ago was close to US 20K for the amp and player. http://www.audiorevolution.com/equip/sharp1bitamp/ The SM-SX1 amp is up for only US$ 750, which Im going to have to get. http://www.hifichoice.co.uk/news.asp?ID=302 Anyone had anything to do with Sharp 1 Bit high-end systems ( Sharp are not known for Hi-Fi gear, I know) but they entered the market with new tech, at the time with rave reviews. Its a few years old now but still looks good. Would appreciate any thoughts on these amps, anyone use one around here ? |
