Hello,
I noticed that Kusonoki in his 3rd DAC used a RS485 receiver/line driver to drive the SPDIF input of the CS8412, that seems to be optimized for higher signal levels than "bare" SPDIF. Kusonoki (and PD) choose the SN75179, however I can easily source the DS3697, which seems to me nearly identical. Did anybody try it ? Cheers Andrea |
