I don't know of anything, nor can I seem to find anything with a 1852. There are tons of projects with the 1862 which is a vintage r2r dac chip.
You could also try this wolfson dac chip project from twisted pear.

If you want to try unbuffered outputs, I would actually think that wolfson is probably a better bet than AD. But thats just my 2 cents, so take it with a grain of salt.

Thanks, Tjj. The AD1852 is actually a sigma-delta Vout chip, but it might be of the same vintage as the AD1862. I have the chips mounted on a pcb already with a complete digital section.
