That one looks so much different that my first assumption was that is a good one
I test the two S1 in the middle of the pic: 1. Separat pin 2 from 4, it still plays musik 2. Separat pin 16 and 17 from extern dem-cap, small distortions in the heights begin So they must be minimum a TDA1541 with A. They never soldered and the housing show no marks or scratches. It seems that they are new old stock. |

>Your "Fake" is identical to that shown by ANDYPAIRO in post#170.
>That came from a well-known scammer, 'Tzeng-Albert". I really should check in here more often ! Just ordered one marked as a 98 Taiwan (HSH), we shall see if he's still selling fakes or not. I'll keep you all posted ..... |

But who would pay the defective CDP if this chip would have been inserted? tzeng_albert knows that his chip is a fake minimum since October 2009. |

Just received the replacement, it 's Taiwan labeled and with curve fonts, looks real but can't test it for the moment but looks the same as post 170 replacement chip. Regards.

Well to the best of my knowledge that last ones were made in 1999/2000. It has been suggested that some of the fakes are relabelled 1540s but in my experience whatever they are they smoke your powersupply! Where did the photo come from ?
