Hi all, i'm trying to restore a Pioneer player/recorder PDR-05.
The service manual says to use a Disc Test std-903 or similar during oscilloscope and volmeter measures.
What is it? Do you know what it contains? Maybe i can create similar one with pink or white noise?
Thanks
Emanuele

Manufacturer test discs for CD players are typically discs that conform absolutely to the appropriate standards such as reflectivity, thickness, flatness, eccentricity and of course error count.
The music content (or test signal/s) on a disc always look the same viewed on a scope (viewing the RF).
A good commercial disc is usually fine for all normal checks and adjustments.
