I had tried
cs8412 + sm5843 + PCM63Pk + 100ohm + SRPP (6dj8) and cs8412 + PMD100 + pcm63pk +100ohm +SRPP (6dj8) and cs8412 + PMD100 +pcm63pkx2 +50ohm +srpp (6dj8) (with reclock circuit between pmd100 and 63) The best is the last one. |

Where did you buy PMD 100? I need one to repair broken CD player. Maybe you have one to sell? Bartek |

I bought mine in here a year ago and it is the surplus from one company. I knew the pmd100 was no more left. By the way, is it the other problem rather than this chip? It is very seldom the chips had the problem....

It is a digital filter that implements HDCD decoding. It is regarded as a very good filter.

the pcm63 is the DAC that is used in Nelson Passes D-1 DAC...the schematics can be found in the service manual that he has posted on the web site...He uses four pcm 63's per dac....looks like it would make an interesting project.

The biggest problem is finding some of these older parts. The 8412 is no longer made, however the 8414 can be used. The SM5813 DFf1700 is the same parts, I am not sure about their availability and of course the PMC63 is no longer made.
So do you have the DAC's already is that the reason you want to build with these parts. Also there are some very nice DIY DAC available. I have some extra DF1700's
