Hi, does anyone know where one can get a reliable supplier of a laser assembly for this cd player. The mech is a Philips Vam1202/12 I believe,?
I'm having issues with it playing certain cd's that play fine in my arcam cd player, but this player is skipping words on a track and I'm getting err messages sometimes when loading?
Naim keep stocks,but want £330 to replace/service player which is about half value of unit!!!
Unfortunately,I've read that there are many dodgy laser assemblies out there,a reliable supplier is my goal,or any other suggestions as to a remedy? I've only had player a few weeks since buying s/h.
