Default Changing toslink to coax input

I have a Nomad JB3 that I want to swap the optical input for a regular coax input. I need to take the SPDIF signal of .5 to 1 v and translate it to TTL logic level, logic 1 3.3v.

Anyone done any thing similar? recommended parts , etc...

Hi,
have a look at tnt-audio, search for TNT1541. There is a multiple electrical SPDIF input with selection: just enable only one of the receivers outputs and get rid of the selector.

By the way, if you can find a RS488 30MHz receiver chip, it should be somewhat faster than RS422.

Kind regards
Giorgio

PS: in case you need more info, please contact me directly too, I am not accessing DIYAudio so constantly...
