Audio Alchemy DAC-in-the-Box Repair - Questions on my Voltage Measurements- Has my Digital Filter Failed?
Pending Post by dtm1962 (A) on April 01, 2004 at 20:42:16 I am repairing my Audio Alchemy Dac-in the Box and I have +3 VDC at both outputs. I have the following measurements: At output of OP275 opamp - Pin 1 : 3VDC Right Pin 7 : 3VDC Left At output of AD1864 Dac - Pin 10 (DR) -3VDC Pin 15 (DL) -3VDC At output of Yamaha YM3434 Dig. Filter - Pin 10 (DRO) +5VDC - Pin 9 (DLO) +5VDC All of the analog & digital +/-5VDC are correct at all of the above power supply pins where applicable. And all grounds measure 0V The input Signal indication LED is lit when there ia a digital source and will go out if I disconnect/turn off the CD Transport. Question: Has the Yamaha Digital Filter YM3434 failed? Thanks in advance. Dan
