SPDIF / Toslink to USB Output

Hi All

I have classic front ends such as CD12 but want to use my USB DAC. I see many USB to SPDIF but none that are SPDIF to USB. Does a chip or circuit exist to do this????

Is you dac usb only ?
Obviously it doesn't have spdif in, what about i2s input ?
Plenty of spdif to i2s adapters out there.

What is the brand and model of the dac ?

The miniDSP miniStreamer USB adapter has coax SPDIF input and output at up to 24/96k.

My Dac is a iFi Micro iDAC 2. USB Only For the money startlingly good value.

I see that iFi do a usb ,spdif, bluetooth dac...

Have you contacted iFi to ask about adding there spdif input to your current dac and how much they might charge ?

Alternatively for very little outlay a second dac and receiver (just needing case/s and power supplies) could be dedicated to your cd player
