Toslink Vs Coaxial

As the title. If a CD player signal to DAC, which one has better performance?

Coax.

If there are AT&T connectors with your CD player and outboard DAC then Toslink is better otherwise I would stay with Coaxial.

Chris, What is difference of the AT&T and ordinary optical o/p from cdp?

AT&T may be better than TOSLINK (what isn't?), but it is not as good as coax.

Unless the coax is done horribly wrong. Which is it sometimes.....

Jocko Homo Banned Join Date: Feb 2002 Location: As far from the NOSsers as possible	No........ AT&T may be better than TOSLINK (what isn't?), but it is not as good as coax. Unless the coax is done horribly wrong. Which is it sometimes..... Jocko
