Just curious has anyone done any mods or improvements on this machine.
I am using it only for a stereo digital source of sacd and HiRez DvD music via its non HDMI output sockets.
I know this has been frequently reviewed incorrectly but I HAVE been using and modded a few of the parts on this audio board to some sonic effect.
I had difficulty finding anything on the net except a passing reference to improvement of parts in the SWMPS.
One of these is the input wiring and the socket being replaced with a Furutech. Now done,
I think also was a simple uprate of the 450v Cap of 100uf to 150 uf? Which seems against some modders suggestions to improve
SWMPS.
As I have had a look at this power supply board but have almost no knowledge of how it can be improved. I am reasonably ok on the audio board.
