Question: clocksynching: Linn Karik w Arcam delta black box 5
Hi, I am a long-time owner of an arcam delta 170.3 CD transport w Arcam delta black box 5. The transport is getting a bit dodgy and the door doesn't open well.
I saw a Linn Karik transport on ebay (without its Numerik D/A converter). Both the Karik and the Arcam Delta clocksync with their d/a converters with the converter being the master clock. Since clock-synching is important for the overall sound quality I was wondering whether the karik might sync with the Arcam Black Box 5. Any thoughts, wisdom gratefully received Charlie |
