I've had this toploader with a CDM 9 transport since quite a while, but since recently it is having some problems.
The digital output still works fine with my dCS upsampler and DAC, but for non-critical listening I use the normal outputs. This player has been modified by me some time ago. I removed the muting transistors, replaced the output caps with Audyn, the power supply caps with OS-Con and the output RCA's with WBT. The sound level from the internal DAC is lower and distorted, especially the lower frequencies. My own guess is the opamps... Any ideas? I can give some more details once I know where to look. |

The opamps used are OP275GP. Any ideas?
