hi sirs,
is it posible to use cd rom drive as a car cd??? can u help me with this!! pls send schematic diagram.. thanks in advance!!! |

No schematic but you have to build a regulator for 5V / 2A voltage / current and use the 12V from battery. Pick a CD-ROM with headphone connector and buttons in front and you need just the power. Use google to find the pinout, I think the yellow is +12V, red one is +5V and black is ground. PC power extension cable with suitable connector are available in your nearest computer shop. Thank you.

what if im going 2 use the 4 pins at the back of the cd drive, where the audio cable is connected going to sound card.. can i used that??
1. if yes?? how i will connect it to headunit(car stereo) 2. what color of the wires?? well if i will used the headphone connector, how i will connect it to HU?? pls help!! thanks in advance ============================= sorry about my grammar, im not that good in english |
