Hi!
I have a defect rega planet CDplayer. The trouble is the small cable going from the transport to the Lens, its a small 12 lead flat cable about 14cm long, with a lead spacing of 1mm. Where can I get anything like it? (A service shop wanted a great deal of shiny coins for the job...) REGA can only give me the entire transport, also costing a lot more than a small cable... I have never seen any shops selling flat cable like this, though it's almost universally used in CD players and other stuff... -Stigla |

I think that this cable is available from Digikey, p 48 of the currrent catalog, .5mm & 1.0mm Parlex flat flex cable. There are some connectors and alternate cables in the adjacent pages. Should be able to pull them up from Digikey.com
I was looking for a piece of this cable to extend the length of a cable on my multispin project. |
