Hi there
I have recently bought a TEAC amplifier AI-501 DA and very pleased with it also bought a TEAC DS-H01 iPod docker and a secondhand dab tuner
Connected together with analogue phonos and all sounds good
However I bought 2 tos optical leads to try it that way
The tuners fine but if I use the iPod dock it sounds way overloaded,clipping and lots of distortion
Using phono's it's fine but digitally won't work
Is the docking unit faulty do you think
I don't have any more equipment with a digital input to try it on
