I just installed a copy of "exact audio copy" and it proved to me there really is a difference in CD rippers.

It's very accurate and faithfull to the original.

Now, let me ask.....how accurate are the various playback programs and how do they compare to each other?

Not in terms of features but how bit for bit perfect are they in their reproduction of WAV files?

I'm using media player at the moment and seemingly. I don't hear any "corruption" or artifacts.....I'll assume that the playback software process is much more straightforward and "foolproof"?

After all, 44.1 khz and 16 bits is nothing to a computer.

Thank you.
