Default Tips on how to make my CD better!

Hi all,

I have an old Yamaha CDX 730 that I want to rebuild (giv a new life). I belive that it has a lot more to give but then I have most shureley have to add somethings and probably also withdraw some things in it.
How should I begin and what can I do? Any surgestions?
