de-emphasis...???

DAC- construction, and upcoming questions.....

Do I need de-emphasis ?

How do I know if my CD's use this ?

If some of them do, can I mace a copy on my computer that removes this crap ?

Some players do it digitally in their decoder,cleaning up the spdif as a bonus.

De-emphasis is very very very very very rare. Of my 700 CD collection only 10 has it and they are more than 10 years old.

Then I suppose I don't need it.......
And if I get a rare CD with this on I could make mp3 of it with EAC, and then make an ordinary CD again. The "new" copy will be free from de-emphasis right ?
