Decoupling digital supply
Oscons or Black Gates? decoupling analogue supply for internal op amps Black gates? Any thoughts/preferences Ta for any inf Smiffy |

Sorry if i intrude in the thread but any recommendations for the LPF filter caps on pins 11 and 18 on the pcm 1716. It is apparently equally important as the decoupling caps.

What exactly are these pins 11 and 18? Labeled common of analog output amp(L and R).

Can't find any reference to pins 11 and 18 in the datasheet.Will ask BB what they do.

Maybe i was wrong in its function but it is apparently important see Kuei's statement a bit down.Use OS-CON in Vcc? .

This was the reply I got from Ti/BB today EXRL,EXTR, these two pins are noise de-coupling function of internal analog 0.5Vcc bias. This 0.5Vcc bias is common level of internal analog section as channel individual. Noise de-coupling capacitor ( 1uF to 10uF ) should be connected as typical application. Smiffy |
