Can't find any reference to pins 11 and 18 in the datasheet.Will ask BB what they do.

This was the reply I got from Ti/BB today
EXRL,EXTR, these two pins are noise de-coupling function of
internal analog 0.5Vcc bias.
This 0.5Vcc bias is common level of internal analog section as
channel individual.
Noise de-coupling capacitor ( 1uF to 10uF ) should be connected
as typical application.
