CDM1 servo settings... help!
anybody can help me in regulating the CDM1 settings???
i am an italian student, and i rescued an old philips cd303. i wanted to listen to it before bringing it back to the garbage... and maby play a little bit on it or use it as transport (if feaseble...) the problem is that it spins far too fast and it does not read the lead in area. I have tried to slow it down it (with a finger on the spindle...) and, after doing so, it recognised the tracks and jumped freely from one to the other... so i hope it is a focus or speed problem... so i have found three trimmers but, not finding any indication on their function, i looked for some information and i've discovered this wonderfoul site! i hope anyone could help me and give some advice.. thanks! federico |
