I'm trying to source this type of EMI filter for my DAC. Any idea where I can find it? This one belongs to ML39 board.

I don't think it's what you linked. What I'm looking for consists of two inductors shunted by a cap.
Digi-Key carries similar product http://dkc3.digikey.com/PDF/C041/0705.pdf with frequency ranging from 10 to 60MHz. Any recommendation which value is most suitable for a DAC circuit? |

The logo of the part: LF seems to indicate that is a part made by LittelFuse, probably a Feedthrough EMI Filter, probably L-C-L configuration. The 103 is probably the Capacitor value or 0.01uF.
It is probably an obsolete part. Just a suggestion... Bye... SB |

Peter,
I have two of those, but labelled 102 instead of 105. They are sold as EMI filter DSS306 EMIFIL. Built up from two ferrite beads and a 1000pF ceramic cap, to be used for filtering out the range 1 - 1000 MHz. If you google for those, you will probably find the other variants too. Hope it can help you to find them. |

Thanks guys, it definitely looks like Murata. I knew that sooner or later the correct answer would pop up.

And this is the pic for those who rightly claim that ML gear is parts farm

Peter you are looking for a plain "MuRata"-filter. Notice that they more or less demands groundplane in order to get low inductance in the center pin. This is very important if you want out the most of the filter.
You can see the filters behind the big blue caps, small brown things. Note also that I have groundplane so the filters have good working conditions. http://home5.swipnet.se/~w-50674/hif.../qsxm3_top.jpg They can be bought here, also worldwide. http://www.elfa.se/elfa/produkter/se/2012678.htm
