Could anybody please tell me if the Lehmann Dac+ will benefit from "piggybacking" its DAC chip (CS4390)? Also, could anyone suggest/advise some other beneficial tweaks?
A block diagram of the PCB can be found here as well as some other info about the unit. [would it be very difficult/costly to implement a class "A" (balanced) output stage? how 'bout incorporating a Monarchy DIP in the same box? ... anything else?] Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. P.S. Would you advise me to bypass the output capacitors (jumpers 6/7, if you looked at the diagram) if the unit is to be plugged into a Pass X-150? |
