Digital out from factory car CD player

Hello all. I just bought a Mazda3 and would like to hack it so I can keep the original CD player and add digital out to it. It will possibly eventually go to a Behringer DEQ2496 and then DCX2496. What are my options? I know it doesn't help that I don't have pictures of the CD player, but I would like to know the different options I have for the mod.

I know my problem is far from well defined, so if you need some explainations, ask me

if you cant post pics...open it and list the chips that are inside...
