Default DAC transformer output?

Ive been reading a little about this and wonder if someone can help me. I stumbled across this page http://digilander.libero.it/paeng/ seems like a nice easy tweak. But i have a few questions - does anyone have any experience trying this - and/or know if these are available in the UK - or similar?
