Arcam Delta 70.3 - Any info?

Does anyone have information on the Arcam Delta 70.3?

I was wondering what mechanism/laser and what chipset is used.

Also, would this be a good CDP to mod?

I know the Delta 70.2 very well, Delta 70.3 is similar except for the DAC/output board. Delta 70.2 uses multibit TDA1541A, Delta 70.3 is a 1 bit system. I am not at home right now but IIRC it has SAA7321GP. In general very good cdplayers with a clock distribution system. They have a CDM 4/31 ( the flat one ).

And again: use the Search function before you start another thread. Plenty info on Arcam here.

Send me a PM for the doc of this cdplayer. It is one of the better cdplayers to mod. Be sure to use a cloth when you're busy with this one, it is sensitive to scratches because of the aluminium case. The paint comes off easy.

I searched the forum and the net and could not find anything specific on the 70.3. The 70.2 was obviously more popular as there are some details on it.

Does its build quality and good layout make it worth considering or will it end up sounding similar to my CD624 which has a CDM4/19 and SAA7321GP?
