Hi,

I went to Aptx website, they list some samsung galaxy tab3 that supports Aptx

I was looking at the older samsung tab 3 7" but samsung specs dont mention Aptx

I got the Avantree Roxa which supports bluetooth 4.0

My question is if the older series tab 3 supports Aptx even though its BT 3.0
or should I go with the newer series tab 4 that has BT4.0 but no mention of Aptx

ideally I want to get lossless audio via BT using the Aptx

Lossless audio is not possible over BT.

The APT-X lossless is not compatible with BT.

aptX® Lossless | HD-Audio Codec

Apt-x is the compression standard that runs on the BT layer.

aptX® High Quality Bluetooth Music Audio Codec

Stereophile had an article comparing APT-x with A2DP, FWIW.

IIRC the conclusion was ho-hum in favour of neither, but each had their strong points and weak points.

Thats not really an answer

Your reply is just info from aptx website
Not sure why you say aptx not compatible with
BT when theur website says incorporated both

Aptx is just a codec still needs BT to carry
Signal

I was asking difference between BT 3 vs BT 4
and Aptx

Quality should be better than legacy BT audio
