Default Clock rates

I was surprised to see this much difference going from Maudio USB Duo to and external Fostex FR2LE field recorder. I have not traced where the difference is yet but the data going to the Maudio is the 1000.13Hz tone as shown, but the file recorded on the Fostex is ~1007 Hz (both set at 44100/24). The analog out of the Maudio is what is being recorded by the Fostex. I would think this excessive for two crystal based clocks, I did expect some small difference doing this but not that much.

This sounds like 48 : 44.1 kHz difference. Any misconfigured settings?

Found the problem, the Maudio Duo is off at only 44100 kHz. It's actually 44400 kHz. !!!??? Or at least effectively that since a bench frequency counter on the analog out gave the same 1006.8kHz that the recorder saw, also checked the recorder against a frequency standard and it was perfect.
