I have opportunity to purchase an old (circa 1988) pioneer PD91 cd player at what appears a reaonable price (approx $125 US)
apparently top line model at some stage.
It looks very well used (a bit scruffy on front panel)
Is this unit worth playing with ?
Will it play cd-r's?
Other option is trying to resurrect old Philips CD303 14 bit
(circa 1983) but with CDM1 drive (i think)
Can't find any useful info on net on either..
