I have tried building a cs8412 to a 1543. However the cs8412 can't lock on the signal coming in. i tried using pulse trans, cap coupled like mention in the pdf of cs8412 ( 75 ohm across the connector and caps in series to RXP and RXN to ground). Would the filter values affect the this locking. I have used a 1k to 0.2uf/0.1uf, (500 ohm to 0.2uf with 3300pf across filter and agnd)to agnd with no success. Is there a voltage reading at filter pin. There should be right. last time i check it was 1.6volts. Also when i probing around, the led came on but does not change when i unplugged the digital cable to cd. Most probably an error. Could i have killed my cs8412? voltage to it are 5volts reg for both analog and digital. Any suggestion would be helpful
