cdm12.1 3 beams?

hi,
I can't find any datasheet about the cdm12.1 and i don't remenber how the focus is made : foucault edge or astigmatic? Thanks for help!

Hi,

If my memory serves me correct, the CDM12.1 is a 3 Beam Single Foucalt Focus Error decteion & LDGU Holograpic Pick-up

I downloaded the datasheet of the VAM1201 from Daisy ( the guys in NL selling the CD Pro mechanism ). I do not remember the website but you should be able to find it. Failing which i can e-mail you what I have got.

The VAM1201 is the replacement for the CDM12.1. My CDM 12.1 gives me tracking and reliability problems. So did my VAM1201 that I replaced the CDM12.1 with. I have now replace them both with VAM1202 and there are working fine. The VAM1202 have smaller motors but mechnaically and electicallu appeared to be the same.
