Default pre-PSU for cuno snoeren XO PSU?

I have a XO (45MHz) w/ Cuno Snoeren PSU ready on a small board to reclock a MD player (MDS-JA20ES).

He specs 10-18V for Vin to his PSU circuit, but I have only +7 available inside (though -7V is available too).

I wonder what would be the best approach; I have read the higher the XO freq, the higher the risk of stray RF spreading around so I'm seeking hte lowest noise solution:

- Use the available -7V tap as ground for Cuno's circuit and +7V (14V) and a seperate ground (connected at only one end) for the clock coax cable. Those taps feed Vcc to the output opamps...

- Use a seperate trafo, then rectify using snubber caps for the rects, then go direcly to Cuno's circuit. Maybe with some kind of CRC or CLC filtering in-between?

- The same as above, but instead (or in addition) of doing only passive filtering, "pre-regulate" to further remove noise with a fixed (eg. 15V, 7815) regulator before cuno's circuit?

What would you do?
