If you do not succed or do not want to pay too much, I offer a plugin, based n NPC5847, but sitting on DIL28 stack socket.

fit form and function compatible

Could you give some more detail of the NPC5847 plugin?

The spec of SM5847 :
¡À0.00002 dB passband ripple
117 dB stopband attenuation
Jitter-free/Sync mode selectable

Just to clarify things, my plugin is priced 49 euro. I have seen 5842 being sold for 100 euro or more.

Doede has some left from his former DAC project.

IS there a differnence in sound to the 5842 ? So, is the 5847 an upgrade ?
