Low pass filter

Hi all

I am thinking about bypassing the onboard opamps on the Bitstream DAC in my CDP. A new low pass filter will have to be created.

Does anyone have ideas on the best way to do this?

Would this be an improvement or just more of the same as what I've already got?

Seems like a part made for the sake of convenience, not for the quality. With GBW of 4MHz and slew rate of 10V/us its chances to be successfully implemented in high quality digital audio equipment are marginal.

Thanks for your reply. As always, the easy way is not the best way!

I have some other filter designs but am not sure how to apply them to my Bitstream DAC - I think it has a differential output before it's onboard filtering opamps.

Is it OK to email these to you for your opinion?
