Hi all, thinking of using old playstation as a dedicated CD Player, hardwiring switches from the hand controller to operate it so that a screen isnt needed. Anyone done anything like this, Have any suggestions?

i got an old PS1 in my scrap bin.

could the mechanism from a playstation 1 be used to produce a transport? would it be easier to use a CDROM drive?
