Default I am going to build a Kwak clock

I am going to build a Kwak clock, and I have a 7.2v batteri,
Is it okay too use a 7805 v reg, and a switch powerdoubler
+5v and -5v and feed it direct to L2 +5v and L5 -5v.
And what is ferrite bead any values.
Are there any substitutes for AD8561 or MAX913.As I canīt find any of these in Sweden
