tda1541a tubedac question

I'm building something similar, but with two TDA1541. Look at an earlier post 2*TDA1541.

I am using the TM3, but i don't have any additional filtering (yet?).
Can't say i hear a difference when i compare with a normal player (freq response that is, not overall performance!).

But the filtering is probably more for keeping high freq away from the next stage and not so much filtering in the audible range (?)

Going to do a proper listening tonight with a friend and a well known set. See you the DAC performs.
