for some years I own a wadia 830 and I'm very pleased with the sound of this machine. Recently bcause my cd collection doesn't fit in the house anymore I'm considering going serverbased. Im not in the position to invest a lot off money in a new dac. Adding a digital input to the 830 is a standard option and wil cost about 500 dollars. Which is a lot to invest on such an old machine.
So here's my questionb:
Could I do this myself and how should it be done? Or does anyone have a schematic of this mod?
I'm good with a soldering iron and own a basic understanding of electronics. reading a schematics etc
