Hey Guys,
So, I've deciced afterall to get rid of the NAD S500 as a transport (my brother is buying it), and move to a dedicated transport. So this is where the questions begin... What should I buy? I want something that is very "tweakable", and affordable. I don't mind second hand, as long as customer service still exists from the manufacturer and/or here. I would prefer not to break the bank (yes, I know its subjective, but my account is small!!!). I want to find the best bang-for the-buck! Of course, upgradability is essential, as I like to tweak my system. So basically an excellent platform from which to build upon is desired. My currnet system is: NAD S500 (transport) AudioNote DacKit 1.2 Audio Research SP9 MKIII DIY 845 Monoblocks or Krell KSA100S ProAc Response D15 Future upgrades will include a DIY pre, and either tweaking the DAC or replacing the DAC I would like the transport to be able to keep up with significantly better DACS. So, any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bryan
