I would like to know if I can use an RAF-3023A to replace an RAF-3022A. They look identical and it appears that some similar model numbers are interchangeable (or are superceded). For example, the model number in the SM for the DVD player I'm working on (Yamaha DVD-S2300MK2) is 3020A1, but a 3022A was installed (and is now bad per the diagnostic, dvd current is high and servo error is returned). The spindle motor assembly is identical and similar to the many Panasonic RP series dvd players from the 90s.
